My photography took a professional turn in the summer of 2006 with
an invitation from a friend to photograph an event that he was hosting. It was fun, I met a lot of wonderful people, I ate
great food (my friend is one of the best chefs in the region), and I came to find out, I was pretty darn good at it. I was
hooked. I became more and more serious about it, and since that time I have done quite a lot with it. I have
been published in The Post Star, The Saratogian, interviewed in the Troy Record and in a hardcover anthology "Illusions
of Reality". I am the photographer for TALK 1300 radio, the staff photographer for the Sight Society of New York, the
publicity photographer for Bakerloo Theater Project, and am involved with a number of additional groups and projects as well.
I have had a part in a group show at the Photography Center of the Capital District, and have had solo shows
at The Red Gallery in Troy, and as part of Troy Night Out. One of my photos caused quite a commotion at BUILT,
the annual show and auction benefiting the Historic Albany Foundation. After a flurry of activity, Pulitzer Prize winning
author William Kennedy was out-bid. He did however purchase another of my pieces that evening, so I can happily say that I
am being shown in high society. (LOL) The latest of my adventures includes taking third place in the competition for
Albany's Quadricentennial calendar. It is eerie enough to take October through Halloween
